The vineyards are located at an altitude of between 400 and 700 metres on calcareous and porphyritic soils that give the wines freshness and minerality. The secondary fermentation in the bottle and the prolonged ageing on the lees take place in the tunnels of Forte delle Benne, an ancient Austrian bastion transformed into a natural cellar.
