The 2022 Bolgheri Superiore DOC from Tenuta Guado al Tasso represents the most complete, profound, and iconic expression of the Antinori project in Bolgheri. This wine originates from a rigorous selection of the estate's best plots, conceived to express controlled power, structural elegance, and extraordinary longevity.

The 2022 vintage, characterized by warm climatic conditions but well-managed thanks to the proximity of the sea and temperature excursions, gave rise to perfectly ripe grapes with aromatic concentration, balance, and tannic finesse. The blend, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon with contributions of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, is aged in oak barriques for a long period, followed by further aging in the bottle.

On the nose, the wine expresses itself with great complexity: ripe black fruits, currant and blackberry, intertwine with notes of graphite, sweet spices, cocoa, tobacco, and subtle balsamic nuances. The palate is deep, enveloping, and structured, supported by dense but perfectly polished tannins and a freshness that accompanies the evolution towards a very long and harmonious finish.
