Argentiera Bolgheri Villa Donoratico DOC 2022

Villa Donoratico 2022 is one of the iconic wines of Argentiera, an authentic expression of Bolgheri's deepest and most territorial soul. It is born from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, cultivated in the estate's historic vineyards, located between 200 and 300 meters above sea level, among the highest in the appellation.

The soils, rich in skeleton, clays and calcareous components, combined with the constant influence of sea breezes, favor slow and complete maturation, giving the wine structure, freshness and elegance. The harvest is manual, with careful selection of the grapes; fermentation takes place in steel and concrete, followed by aging in French oak barriques that harmonize its profile without overpowering the fruit.

On the nose, it expresses intense notes of ripe black fruits, blackberry and cassis, accompanied by elegant hints of sweet spices, tobacco, graphite and Mediterranean scrub. The sip is deep, structured and refined, with silky tannins, great balance and a freshness that supports a long and persistent finish.

Villa Donoratico 2022 is a Bolgheri Rosso of great character and longevity, capable of combining power and finesse, designed for evolution over time but already remarkably enjoyable today.
