Avezza Barbera Nizza DOCG 2016 Magnum

The 2016 Magnum Barbera Nizza DOCG from Avezza winery is born on the hills of Monferrato, in the heart of the area historically most suited for Barbera. The result of selected grapes from sun-drenched vineyards and low yields, it represents an authoritative and intense interpretation of this denomination. The Magnum format enhances its ability to evolve and refine over time.

In the glass, it presents itself with a deep ruby red color, with garnet reflections.

The nose reveals intense and complex aromas of ripe red fruit, black cherry, and plum, intertwined with notes of sweet spices, licorice, and light toasted nuances.

On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with dense and velvety tannins that support a broad and enveloping sip. The typical freshness of Barbera balances the richness of the fruit, while the finish is long and persistent, with elegant spicy and mineral returns.
