Baracchi’s "Smeriglio" Merlot 2017 was born on the hills of Cortona, a territory that enhances international grape varieties thanks to its temperate climate and galestro-marl soils. A refined interpretation of Merlot, the result of the balance between varietal expressiveness and territorial refinement.

In the glass, it presents a deep ruby red color, vivid and luminous.

On the nose, it releases intense and enveloping aromas of ripe plum, dried plum, and cherries, with subtle spicy, vanilla notes and a delicate smoky hint that enriches its complexity.

In the mouth, it is full and enveloping, with soft and velvety tannins that support a harmonious sip. The well-calibrated freshness gives impetus to the wine, while the finish is long, persistent, and refined, with returns of ripe fruit and subtle spices.
