Colombo Sormani Puntesel Valtellina Superiore DOCG 2021 is an elegant and artisanal red wine made from Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) grapes grown on the terraces of Valtellina. After fermentation with a long maceration, it ages for twelve months in French and Slavonian oak barrels. It presents a brilliant garnet color with ruby reflections; the nose offers refined aromas of small red fruits, ripe cherry, blackberry, and floral nuances, enriched by spicy and mineral notes typical of the territory. On the palate, it is balanced and harmonious, with fine tannins, lively acidity, and a persistent finish that recalls fruit and spices. A wine of limited production, it expresses the authenticity and character of Valtellina. Ideal with roasts, braised meats, game, and aged cheeses, it should be served at 16-18 °C and can be decanted to best express its complexity
