Domaine Alain Chavy Bourgogne Chardonnay 2021 is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the vineyards around Puligny-Montrachet. Vinification takes place in steel tanks, followed by twelve months of aging in used French oak barrels with a small proportion of new wood. It has a bright straw yellow color with golden reflections. The aroma is fine and complex, with notes of green apple, pear, white flowers, and hints of minerality and toastiness. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced, and structured, with lively acidity, good savoriness, and a long, harmonious finish. This is an elegant and precise wine that combines the typical minerality of Burgundy with the softness of Chardonnay. Ideal with fish, shellfish, risottos, and soft cheeses. Serve at 10-12 °C.
