The Brachetto d'Acqui Passito "Passri" 2015 from the Marenco winery originates in Piedmont, from a family that has for generations valued indigenous grape varieties and its connection to the land. Brachetto, usually known in its lively and sparkling form, finds here a rare and fascinating version: the passito, the result of a selection of the best grapes left to wither to concentrate aromas and natural sweetness.
In the glass, it presents an intense ruby red color, enhanced by garnet reflections.
The nose reveals enveloping aromas of dried rose, ripe strawberry, raspberry, and kirsch, accompanied by notes of sweet spices and balsamic accents.
On the palate, it is velvety and harmonious, with full sweetness yet balanced by a lively freshness that gives momentum to the sip. The finish is long and persistent, with hints of candied red fruit and fine spices.
A unique, elegant, and seductive passito, perfect paired with dark chocolate, dry pastries, and red fruit desserts, but also ideal as a meditation wine.
