Metilde winery is a small artisanal reality born from a love for tradition and the historic grape varieties of the territory. Attention to quality and the choice of limited productions allow for the creation of wines with great identity, capable of sincerely expressing the soul of the vineyard and time.
The Passito Moscato Seren DOC 2007 is one of the winery's rarest and most precious labels. The Moscato grapes are left to dry slowly, concentrating aromas and natural sugars, then patiently mature until they reach a perfect balance between intensity and finesse. In the glass, it presents a brilliant amber color with golden reflections.
On the nose, it offers a broad and complex bouquet, with notes of dried apricot, honey, candied orange peel, and acacia flowers, enriched by spicy nuances and light balsamic undertones.
On the palate, it is enveloping and velvety, with a rich sweetness perfectly balanced by freshness and minerality. The finish is very long and harmonious, with lingering hints of dried fruit and honey.
A passito of extraordinary elegance, perfect with dry pastries, blue cheeses, and as a meditation wine, capable of still delivering emotions today after years of aging.
