The Chardonnay Sanct Valentin 2023 is one of San Michele Appiano's iconic wines, and one of the best Italian Chardonnays. It comes from selected high-altitude vineyards in Appiano, with privileged exposures and mineral-rich soils that give the wine complexity, structure, and elegance.

Vinification and aging take place in wood with a long period on the lees, which provides depth, volume, and a creamy texture perfectly balanced by freshness and savoriness.
On the nose, it opens with intense aromas of ripe yellow fruit, citrus, vanilla, hazelnut, and light toasted notes. On the palate, it is rich, precise, harmonious, and persistent, with great mineral elegance and a very long finish.

A collectible white wine, capable of evolving magnificently in the cellar, ideal for important pairings such as shellfish, fish in sauce, foie gras, poultry, or aged cheeses.
