Tenimenti D’Alessandro’s 2019 Viognier is born in Cortona, in an area that has embraced this French grape variety, transforming it into one of Tuscany's most refined white expressions. The clay and sand-rich soils and the hilly microclimate favor balanced ripening, yielding wines of great aromatic complexity and natural freshness.
In the glass, it presents an intense and brilliant straw yellow, with golden reflections that hint at its richness.
On the nose, it opens with broad and seductive aromas of apricot, yellow peach, and candied citrus, accompanied by elegant floral notes of acacia and jasmine, and subtle spicy and mineral nuances.
On the palate, it is enveloping and velvety, with a full structure balanced by vibrant freshness. The sip is harmonious, rich yet balanced, and concludes with a long and persistent finish, characterized by fruity and floral returns.
A Viognier of great elegance and personality, ideal with refined fish dishes, crustaceans, delicate white meats, and blue cheeses, also perfect for contemplation to appreciate its complexity and its refined aromatic intensity.
