Luigi Francoli's Grappa Invecchiata Sherry Finish Cask is born from a project that combines Piedmontese distillation excellence with the noble influence of sherry casks. Selected pomace is carefully distilled, and the grappa is then left to rest in traditional wood, to further age in casks that have held sherry, capable of imparting complexity and aromatic depth.
In the glass, it presents itself with a luminous amber color, enriched by golden reflections.
On the nose, it releases enveloping and complex aromas, with notes of dried fruit, raisins, and figs, enriched by spicy hints, vanilla, and a touch of toasted wood.
In the mouth, it is soft and velvety, with an elegant structure that combines the roundness of aged grappa with the sweet and intense character of sherry. The finish is long and persistent, with hints of candied fruit and fine spices.
A distillate of great charm, perfect for meditation or to accompany dark chocolate and dry pastries, capable of expressing a unique balance between Italian tradition and Iberian suggestions.
