This wine has a delicate coppery color with pastel pink hues. On the nose, it offers citrus notes of blood orange and pink grapefruit, aromas of pomegranate, cherry, raspberry, currant, and wild strawberries, finishing with hints of wild rose, face powder, toasted almonds and hazelnuts, licorice root, and bread crust. The palate is full and velvety, with a rich and dense structure balanced by fine and subtle bubbles and pleasant acidity, leading to a mineral finish with slightly almond-like tannins.
Pure Meunier from the estate's vineyards in Martignano, a hamlet of Trento, located at about 450 meters above sea level on the slopes of Monte Calisio. The soils are predominantly calcareous and silty, rich in skeleton on Trentino red rock, cultivated according to organic viticulture principles. Manual selected harvesting is followed by pressing with light maceration in contact with the skins in the press, fermentation, and aging on fine lees in steel tanks until bottling in the spring following the harvest. After the addition of selected yeasts and liqueur de tirage, the wine rests in the bottle for a period of at least 4 years, followed by riddling, disgorgement, and dosage with a residual sugar of 5.5 grams per liter. Approximately 2700 bottles are produced.
